Ephesse is officially candidate for another mandate

Published on by Winnie

It comes as no surprise but now it's confirmed. François Stifani is candidate for the position of Grand Master of the GLNF to be decided by a two round secret ballot at the next meeting of the Sovereign Grand Committee on March 30th. It is too early to forecast the outcome but the severe hammering he took at the AGM on February 4th with a tailor made electoral college doesn't augur well for him next month when the Sovereign grand Committee will have an entirely different profile.

Well looks like we shall see what happens: the danger is too many opposition candidates, thus splitting the vote and allowing Ephesse to win overall. Hopefully the opostion to Ephesse will unite
behind one candidate?

There will be a second round and the SGC will include all the members removed by ephesse since January 21st, 2011 (approximately 120) and the 221 he has
appointed since that same date can put their blue aprons on E-Bay. That changes everything. And don't forget the elected candidate also has to run the AGM ratification gauntlet, with a
pre-january 21st, 2011 electoral college, probably about 1000 Lodges with 2 delegates each, mostly anti-Ephesse. he's running scared. read the latest legal move by Balloo.
