I HAVE A DREAM

I HAVE A DREAM

To see each body play its part in the field where it belongs : Lodges (the masonic order), the Obedience (representation), the GLNF Association (management); and then to see an end to the confusion of the three which has been intentionally created .

I HAVE A DREAM

To see a Grand Master  of the GLNF,  FLMRF: Fraternity of Regular Masonic Lodges in France, wear a simple past master’s apron of his particular working or rite, with no medals, gilt braid or powers, but bearing only his duty, his sole duty: to represent the Assembly of Lodges, in the knowledge that, the following year, he will transfer his honorable and honorary Office to his successor, who shall have been duly elected from the brothers of a different rite, for the period of one year.   Likewise, for all PGMs,  if such are still to exist .

I HAVE A DREAM

Never to see another national or provincial mass assembly organised at the  cost of  vast sums of money  for no other purpose than  that of gratifying the egos of the big-aproned show-offs of the “be-not but be- seen-to-be” clique, who think they are God’s representatives on earth and upset and pollute the rest.

I HAVE A DREAM

Never again to see our Grand Officers recognise and support as brothers dictators from any country of the world and thereby and therewith fraudulently  throw in our ostensible moral support for the same.

I HAVE A DREAM

To see this GLNF or its satellites give back to the brethren of such and such a town  their masonic premises, having misappropriated them from them although bought with their own money.

I HAVE A DREAM

To see a lodge sovereign in all points, constituted under the French Law relative to Associations of 1901 , running its own accountancy, and recognized as sole authority invested with the power to initiate, having its WMs installed in the Chair by their predecessors according to ancient usage, without interference from  whomsoever.

I HAVE A DREAM

Never again to hear whomsoever demand entrance to the Lodge or demand to be received under the vault of honour, and never again to have to salute whomsoever by 3, 5, 7 or more.

I HAVE A DREAM

To be able to look at my brother and think what a great mason he is.

I HAVE A DREAM

No longer to have to think of “recognition by the United Grand Lodge of England”” as essential, but only to know that we are “regular”.

Regularity calls for respect of the Twelve points of the Rule, our ancient usages and Landmarks, our rites and the principle that a lodge is created by descendancy from another regular « mother » lodge

 I HAVE A DREAM

To see the money taken out of the OAF coffers and used to aid our brothers in distress. And, when it has all been used, to call on the brethren, according to their means,  and without prejudice for themselves or their families.  We are not offspring of the jackal, but the Children of the Widow.

I HAVE A DREAM

To see the profanest cease knocking at our door, knowing they had naught to obtain of a profane nature by becoming Freemasons.

I HAVE A DREAM

To see depart from our midst those who have no place in our assembly as regular masons, yet not have to chase them out, for, in our new assembly there will be no honours or profane medals for them.

I HAVE A DREAM

To be able to share with you, my regular Brothers, the fraternal board of sustenance which is love and the reflexion of pure love and charity poured down on our heads by the GAOTU.

 I HAVE A DREAM

No longer to regard certain brothers as strangers as I do today, because I should be able to regard them as brothers.

I HAVE A DREAM

To see new Rules, Regulations and Constitutions that circumvent irregular deviation and practice of whatever sort in time to come so that we may drop our guard and suspicions and be what we have not been able to be since 1997, masons confident of their regularity.

I HAVE A DREAM

To see each and every regular, recognised brother regarded and considered by others as their brother, as he is. Every  brother progresses along his mason’s way according to his own capacity of heart and of mind and inner growth and experience.

I HAVE A DREAM

To live the spirit of masonry in the Chain of Union of the initiatory tradition, far from the temptations of power and glory, other than the power to govern myself, master my passions and overcome my vices.

I HAVE A DREAM

To see at last that Harmony among brothers is found again, that we might, in all serenity,  seek the Light and labour solely TTGOTGAOTU.

 I HAVE A DREAM,

But that dream, Brethren, depends only on us for it to become reality.

If it wasn’t for the cost involved in re-printing all the letterheads & paraphernalia, a new name instead of GLNF will have been welcomed!
Paracelse’s dream is within reach now, the details are the most tedious part of the work but the main principles are launched. The new motto should be: never again!
Though we might have to assume for a long time some of the financial commitments of the previous team… The priority will have to be the clean up & centralization of all the accounts while
remembering that most of them are registered under specific names with little or no links to the GLNF. We might have to resort to a financial expert to un-knit & prove the connections between
the different layers of all the companies & subsidiaries. Our internal revenue service could be” gung ho” in joining us in that imbroglio.
It stands to reason that some hard work is awaiting us and that’s the best part!
