Birth announcement

The « hatched, matched and dispatched » column of the « Times » is beyond my limited budget. So it is on LML in English that I proudly announce the birth of the new regular Grand Lodge in France, the

Grande Loge de l’Alliance Maçonnique Française,

an amazing event, because issue of a 99 year old, once active, highly resepected and dignified lady. Events over the past two years have reduced her to a mere shadow of her former self and the birth is likely to be the final contribution to her demise. Despite the worrying state of the mother's health, the youngster is in fine form. 

A detailed report on the organisation of the newly born’s first days will be published shortly. One thing is known already, a large number requests have been received to be godparents, 188 from the A&ASR alone.
